Meet our Team
Senior Service Technician
Steven started in Dry-cleaning 12 years ago scrubbing collars and laundering shirts. He later moved to customer service and eventually pant pressing. He also did some Dry-cleaning and stain removal.
In 2009 Steven joined IMI as a technician. He has helped to build several plants and has installed many machines. Steven says his goal is to learn something new every day.
Tige is the newest member of the IMI team. He came to us with 8 years’ experience servicing Dry-cleaning and Laundry equipment. He also has 10 years plumbing/steamfitting experience and he spent 18 months working in a Dry-cleaning plant.
Tige has built plants and installed equipment all over Western Canada. He enjoys the challenges and the variety of equipment in our industry.
Ian has been working in the Dry-cleaning industry since 1969, purchasing his first plant in 1974. In 1980, he opened a Laundromat in Airdrie, Alberta. A few years later, he opened a Dry-cleaning plant in Airdrie as well, which he ran for almost 30 years. Ian was involved in the Alberta Textile Care Association and has attended several Clean Shows and also holds a Special Boiler Operator Certificate.
Ian started working for Integrity Mechanical in 2011 as a Service Technician. He later switched over to Sales, where he is now responsible for monthly sales calls, as well as delivery of Supplies and Padding.
Office Manager, Parts Department
After spending more than 20 years working in the Healthcare field as a Nurse, as well as raising three daughters, Paula puts her attention to detail to good use as Office Manager.
Paula runs the office, drives the forklift and makes sure that our employees and customers have what they need to succeed. Paula enjoys spending time with family, especially spoiling her three grandchildren.
Kevin began his service career as a licensed Motor Mechanic, including operating a Gulf Service Station for several years. He then spent 11 years at Todd Cleaners in Edmonton. As General Manager, he was responsible for two busy plants (35 employees). In 2002, Kevin spent 18 months as Parts and Service Manager for Prairie Distributors in Calgary.
In 2003, Kevin and Paula launched Integrity Mechanical to provide the best possible service and the latest equipment for Dry-cleaners. Kevin has been to the Union factory in Bologna, Italy and the Unipress factory in Florida for training. He has his Fifth Class Steam Ticket and is also a regular columnist for Fabricare Canada.
Integrity Mechanical Inc. was founded in 2003 by Kevin and Paula Marois. We saw the need for competent technicians to sell and service Dry-cleaning and Laundry equipment. The company name was carefully chosen to express the standard for every interaction with customers, suppliers and staff.
The goal at IMI is to ensure that every job is done correctly and to the best our ability. The customer must be satisfied with the repair. Our work needs to be done in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost.
Our approach to our customers is that if “they don’t succeed, we won’t succeed.” We hold regular training sessions at our office to help our customers improve their craft.
We have recently expanded our hours. We have technicians available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
IMI has always done a lot of boiler work and worked well with ABSA (Alberta Boilers and Safety Association). In 2005 IMI received a certificate of Authorization from ABSA authorizing them to do Boiler External Piping. That QC program has been renewed every 3 years and IMI currently does about 50 inspections per year.
One of the keys to our customers’ success is the equipment that we sell. We represent the best machines available in the world. We handle the full range of equipment to outfit a Dry-cleaning plant. We stock parts for our machines and our technicians undergo regular training. We attend the international shows looking for ways to help our customers succeed better. Kevin recently traveled to Amsterdam with a customer to look at a new brand of machine to do industrial cleaning.
We are members of the Alberta Dry-cleaner’s Association and the Dry-cleaning & Laundry Institute. Paula is a director for the ATCA and is involved in organizing association events. IMI is also an Accredited Member of the BBB.
In 2011 we began selling Kreussler Chemical detergents and solvent. IMI installed the first Solvon K4 Dry-cleaning machine in Canada.
In 2011 we purchased our current building. It gives us room to store equipment and parts. It is also a lot easier to load the trucks indoors.
We service plants all across Alberta and have built many plants. One of the plants we built was recognized in the American Dry-cleaner magazine. We understand workflow and can work with you from design to completion.
We currently have four technicians and one salesman. Most of them have worked in plants and understand how critical it is to get your machine working again. We want to be a valued partner in your business. We recognize the trust you place in us to keep your plant running and we strive to help you succeed.
TestimonialsWhat are people saying about Integrity Mechanical?
Kevin, Paula and the rest of the staff at Integrity are great. They’re always so professional and organized with everything they do. From the smallest breakdown to a new equipment install, you always know things are going to be taken care of right. They are a pleasure to do business with.
Fast and efficient service. Staff absolutely goes above and beyond for their customers. We would definitely recommend this company to others in the Dry-cleaning Industry.
We have used Integrity Mechanical for several years and consider them an invaluable partner in our business. We know we will not only get fair pricing on equipment, but excellent follow through on service. That’s Integrity.
We narrowed down the purchase of a new boiler to Kevin Marois because of the price. Soon we discovered that Kevin was fully competent and knowledgeable in regard to installation, quality control , upkeep tips and operating procedures. We appreciated the after sales contact. We also appreciated the communication with our installer regarding pipe and fitting requirements. Kevin & Paula, you have a good outfit…… truly professional! Thank you.
Friendly, Courteous, Knowledgeable staff who stand behind their equipment and their work. Always eager to share their knowledge, and supply information on maintenance, equipment and supplies. The best consulting team with MY interests at the forefront! There`s a reason they`re called Integrity Mechanical.
I have used Integrity’s services since they first formed the company. When I call, they answer, and sometimes they even call Me ! They actually check in to see if the work they did was up to par and still working. Unheard of in the service industry. Yup, I blame all of this on Paula, just know that it wasn’t by accident that they have continuous growth.
Integrity Mechanical’s professionalism, helpful attitude and years of experience in the industry make them a leader in the field of Dry Cleaning. We have purchased a number of pieces of equipment from Integrity Mechanical, with confidence knowing Kevin and his team will stand behind them. Kevin Marois, has personally, gone above and beyond in the advice and support he has given our company to make sure we are well taken care of.
Dolphin Cleaners has used Kevin from Integrity Mechanical for 12 years. He provides high level of service mixed in with a high level of integrity and product knowledge. All of our equipment in all of our stores has come from Integrity mechanical. I wouldn’t buy a piece of equipment unless it came from Integrity mechanical. He stands behind his products.
Integrity Mechanical is well named. I appreciate doing business with an entire team of talented and caring people that I trust. When you get your follow-up phone call the day after your service was completed, you know that you matter to them.”
You guys are awesome Kevin and Paula. Thank you for all you do for me, my business, my family, and our industry! I do sincerely appreciate working with you!
